Banca della Marca Credito Cooperativo was founded over a century ago in Orsago, in the province of Treviso. It describes itself as a modern bank with an ancient heart.

Its mission is to foster local development while collaborating with major international organizations to deliver high-quality services, even to the most demanding customers.

The Context

A Complex and Challenging Project

Following the merger with the ICCREA group, the bank needed to transition to the parent company’s information system.

We managed the data migration project and oversaw the configuration and parameterization of the new system, adapting it to the bank’s structure and specific processes across all 50 branches.

Although the project was complex and challenging for the bank, we provided continuous guidance, technical support and strategic consultancy to ensure a smooth transition.

The Choice

Changing the Information System: A Shift in Operational Logic and Mindset

The migration process spanned six months and began with the formation of a dedicated project team that conducted preliminary analyses, including the development of a comprehensive plan. This was followed by an assessment of the bank’s data and operations to prepare for the migration from the Cassa Centrale information system to that of the ICCREA Group.

Two test releases were carried out prior to the actual production switch, which represented the most critical phase. The final data conversion took place during the go-live weekend during which all the necessary checks were also completed.

The training for the 370 employees was conducted primarily remotely, using a pool of key users, selected bank employees who received in-depth training and then transferred their knowledge to branch colleagues.
